Your California privacy rights
Opt out of sale or sharing, limit the use of sensitive information, or request a copy of your data.
Von Mortgage is operated by Dream Big Ownership LLC, a California business based in Redding. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the rights set out below. We do not charge you anything or provide a lesser level of service for exercising them.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
We use advertising and measurement technologies that pass online identifiers to third parties, including Meta and Google. Under California law that counts as selling or sharingpersonal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though we receive no money for it.

Global Privacy Control
This site honors theGlobal Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing automatically — you do not need to do anything else, and the preference panel will confirm we received it.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information
A mortgage inquiry necessarily involves sensitive personal information — Social Security number, income, and financial account details. We use it to evaluate and process your request and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, which the statute permits without a limitation right attaching.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use it for advertising. You can still record a limitation request through the preference panel or the form below, and we will honor it.
Request access, correction, or deletion
You have the right to ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to;
- give you a portable copy of that information;
- correct inaccurate personal information; and
- delete personal information we hold about you.
Deletion has limits we cannot waive. As a mortgage broker we are required to retain loan and transaction records under federal and state lending, anti-money-laundering, and record-keeping rules, so we may decline deletion for that information and will tell you which exemption applies.
How to submit a request
Two ways, as required by law:

- Call us at (530) 221-7700.
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, extendable once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary. We will tell you if we need the extension.
Verifying who you are
Before we release or delete anything we have to be reasonably sure you are who you say you are — releasing loan data to the wrong person is a far worse outcome than a slow response. We will ask you to confirm information we already hold. We will not ask you to create an account in order to make a request.
Authorized agents
Someone may submit a request for you if you give them written permission. We will ask for a copy of that permission and will still verify your identity directly.
