He moved to Von Mortgage and started his own branch in July 2019 after 9 years with Megastar. He uses his expertise as the Branch Manager of Von Mortgage, INC. in Redding, CA. to offer advice and consultation. He takes the time to understand his client’s goals, whether they are first time home buyers or expert property investors, so he can implement lending solutions that will enhance lives and fulfill dreams.

Besides helping people succeed in homeownership, he also enjoys road biking, backpack, surfing, traveling, and reading.

Amy Cockburn was born in Indiana but is a California girl at heart. She is a Licensed Loan Officer but spends most of her time partnering with Pete Metz and his team to help provide the best customer service possible. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about the mortgage world and helping educate those in this profession and those looking to purchase or refinance. In her spare time she likes to venture the outdoors with her husband Nathan Cockburn and their dog Maximus. If they’re not outdoors or in the gym they are spending time with family and friends.

Tabitha was borne and raised here in Redding CA, she has been with Von Mortgage for 3 years. She started out as the receptionist and has moved on to be a loan partner for Team Metz here at Von Mortgage. In her spare time Tabitha loves spending time with her two kids, Chloe and Kason.

Born and raised in Shasta County, Blair loves this community and helping his fellow northern Californians achieve their goal of home ownership. His reputation as a mortgage advisor has been built on attention to detail and the belief that communication is of utmost importance in the home loan process. His “door is always open” policy provides his clients a professional mortgage experience that is comfortable and stress-free.

Blair is married to his best friend, Melanie, with whom he has two children, Brooklynn and Koen. The family enjoys golfing, camping, baseball, and traveling.

Angela analyzes each client’s needs and strives to provide a seamless transaction, with uncompromising service. She believes that education is power and finds it incredibly rewarding to educate her clients about their different financing options and help them secure a loan that best suits their budget and goals. Angela has extensive product knowledge and experience in purchases as well as refinances.

Away from the office, Angela values time with her husband and two young children. Together they enjoy camping, bike riding and sunny days at the lake

I was born & raised Mishawaka, IN which is approximately 1.5 miles from the University of Notre Dame (I am a Fighting Irish Fan). I joined Von Mortgage in October of 2021 as a Production Assistant for Team Metz, as well as originating in Indiana for my friends and family.

I started in the Mortgage Industry in 2016. My passion for Mortgage Origination comes from personal experience. I truly believe that what separates us from others is our hearts. When we do what is right, the right things happen- in all aspects of life.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my children, catching some wind on my Harley Sportster 883, and cooking for my friends and family. During the summer time, you will find us on the lake all day!

Tiffany Schafer joined Von Mortgage in April 2022 as Customer Support Concierge. She was raised in Eugene, Oregon but considers Redding her home after a decade in Shasta County. Tiffany has many years in administrative and customer support experience and she genuinely understands the needs of clients. She always seeks to go above and beyond to create winning experiences.

Tiffany is excited to meet and check in with you along every step of your mortgage journey!

Outside of the office, Tiffany is committed to health and wellness; she finds ways to move her body, learn about emotional health, and improving her well-being on every level. She is also a mom to a teenage son and wiggly Boxer pup. You will find her slinging beers at local Fall River Brewery on the weekends; stop by and say hello!

I’m Kaitlin, and I’m proud to be part of the Von Mortgage team as the Front Desk Manager. I have always enjoyed working with numbers and helping people, and the mortgage industry allows me to combine both while being part of the homeownership journey.

Each day, I help create a welcoming environment for our clients, assist with questions, and support our team to ensure every experience feels smooth and personal. I enjoy being part of the process that helps individuals and families move closer to their future home.

My long-term goal is to become a Loan Originator, and I am excited to continue learning and growing within the industry so I can guide clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places with friends and family, spending time at the lake, and soaking up the sunshine whenever I can.
